Welcome to my Website. My name is Mike O'Brien, Owner, Operator, and Creator of O'Brien Knives. I have loved knives since I was very young. In 1994 I visited a local knife maker supply store and I was immediatley hooked. I purchased my first book on knifemaking and set out on my first project. Using files and an electric drill I created my first knife. I have since moved on to some more advanced equipment and a small library of books and videos, but each knife is still made by hand.
